court dates given!! :)
we now have our court dates for the adoption order and celebration hearing :-D
03/08/12 for the AO
29/08/12 is the celebration hearing
we are nearly there now, no more social workers, visits, meetings or hassle
will be the start of our new adventure as an official family of 3!

17 weeks now!
lo has now been home and living with us for 17 weeks :) really can't believe it's been that long!
things have been going so well the paperwork has all gone in to make it all official now.....just waiting for a date now!
he is an adorable, cheeky little monkey, who when he smiles just makes your heart melt, we feel so privileged to have been chosen to be his parents and are so proud of how far he has come on in the time he's been here.
we really can't imagine our lives and home without him now.........even the cats are used to him now lol

almost 9 weeks in now!
well our gorgeous cheeky little monkey has been home with us for 2 months or 8 weeks and 4 days and i'm pleased to say things are going fabulously, it is like he's always been here!
he now goes to a playgroup once a week and is waiting to start one for children with additional needs/disabilities which should be after Easter, he loves the one he goes to!
everything is finally slotting into place, he's having portage, physio has begun and if things continue going so well we will be considering applying for the AO as soon as we can :)
the best part of things now is that the sw's are only coming every 2-3 weeks and not every week like before it's just FAB and is like being a proper family with no one looking over you!
we were meant to be keeping in touch with his fc's but they just haven't bothered replying to messages left and to be honest they have caused a lot of problems for us with him!
so all in all, we are loving life as a family of 3!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

28 days in!!
well we are now 28 days into placement with our lo, everything has been going really well
it seems like he has always been here :)

big news!
after the yes at mp in december and we'd got christmas out of the way it soon came round to january and that meant the start of meeting our lo
intros started 9/1/12 and 10 days later (today 19/01/12) we brought lo home!
had a few probs getting him to go to sleep but as soon as we moved his bed round to the same position as it had been at fc no problem.....out like a light!
so we are now at the start of the next stage of our journey as a family of 3!
