today was the day we went to meet lo's consultant, this meeting went really well the prognosis for lo was a lot better than we were expecting, not that we would have been put off if it hadn't been :)
we also met with lo's sw, she was really nice, and we got to see an updated dvd on lo, just so adorable : D
next steps are;
24/10 - our sw and lo's coming to us to discuss placement report etc
6/12 - meeting paediatrician, portage/physio and lo's fc
12/12 - matching panel
we are so happy things are moving along

more and more progress :)
well our LA held their selection meeting today, to discuss the match between us and lo....and it went well!
we are seeing lo's sw and consultant on the 14th, then lo's sw and ours are coming to us on 24th!
not only that, but also pencilled in a matching panel date for December!!!!!!!!
AND they want us to go there before matching panel to meet with them, lo's carers and lo!
GOSH it all seems to be happening!
and intros in January 2012!
